While we are all still licking our wounds from Cats, perhaps we should embrace the comfort catnip of a classic good bad movie. As a result, I couldn't possibly miss the opportunity to nominate just such a film that happens to sport a most appropriate tag line:
"The dancing's over. Now it gets dirty."
To paraphrase one blurb I read: "Swayze plays a martial arts expert who also has a philosophy degree from NYU (just incredible). Dalton is a mercenarial 'cooler' who cleans up dive bars, and his latest challenge is Jasper, Missouri, a town that’s being terrorized by a businessman who literally drives a monster truck through a car dealership parking lot. Do I need to write more?"
"Marshall Teague told a story that he took his mother to the premiere of the movie. When the fight against Dalton happens and he says the line, 'I used to f*$# guys like you in prison!', his mother jumped up and proudly shouted, 'That's my boy!'" |
