Ebert described it as "perhaps [Brando's] worst film." Mike Myers acknowledged it provided the inspiration for Mini-Me. It garnered a Stinkers Bad Movie Awards nomination for Worst On-Screen Hairstyle (and lost to Stephen Baldwin for Bio-Dome) and several Razzie noms. Yet it also earned two Saturn Award nominations for Best Science Fiction Film and Best Makeup.
It is from 1996, so there is little doubt John Vennema and others among us paid good money after this bad rubbish. But perhaps he will entertain the rest of us in revisiting...
