Friends! and Others! The Trivedis are galavanting south of the border, but if you cut off one head of course another grows in its place and we all nonetheless stagger forward, together, lurching, undaunted.
This week, in sober recognition of the liturgical season of lent, we choose to subject ourselves to the cinematic equivalent of wandering in the desert for 40 days without food while being harried by the devil. In other words, we must choose a stupid movie crammed with Catholic nonsense.
