For my part, I would like to nominate that timeless holiday classic, Street Fighter. Originally released on December 23, 1994, Street Fighter is the story of an deranged, alternate-universe Santa Claus (Raul Julia) who repurposes his elf helpers into a private army and relocates his operation from the North Pole to a heavily-armed military base in Southeast Asia.
